Nick Castellanos Hitting Cleanup On Thursday
1 week agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos is in right field and is batting cleanup for Thursday's divisional clash against the Atlanta Braves and right-hander Spencer Schwellenbach at Truist Park. It's the first time that Castellanos has been in the cleanup spot this year, with the Phillies moving third baseman Alec Bohm moving down to the seven-hole after an 8-for-45 (.178) start to the year with no home runs. The 33-year-old Castellanos has been swinging a hot bat in the early going in 2025, hitting .308 (12-for-39) with two homers, three RBI and seven RBI. He's gone 7-for-18 in the last five games as well. The move up the lineup into the cleanup spot will make him a little more attractive for DFS lineups, albeit against a pitcher that has yet to give up a run this year. Castellanos has hit .222 with three RBI in nine career at-bats against Schwellenbach.
