Then, in the third, Boldy would tally his second goal, which would be credited as an own-goal against the Islanders. The 23-year-old logged four shots on goal in this contest with a +2 rating. This outing snapped a five-game scoreless streak for Boldy. Prior to this slump, the 23-year-old tallied eight points (two goals, six helpers) over his previous six contests. Over his previous 11 contests, Boldy has tallied an impressive 14 points (five goals, nine helpers), with four of the points coming on the man advantage. Boldy opened the scoring in the game with a power-play goal within the first three minutes of the game. Later in the period, he would tack on the primary assist on Marco Rossi's power-play tally. This was his second multi-point showing over his previous three games. Over his last six games, Boldy has tallied eight points (four goals, four helpers) and averaged four shots on goal per game. Overall, the 23-year-old has tallied 39 points through 45 games and remains a must-start player in all formats given his role on the top line in the Minnesota offense. He will look to stay hot on Saturday evening against the Nashville Predators.
