Logan Henderson Strikes Out Eight In Second Straight Outing
1 week agoMilwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Logan Henderson enjoyed another impressive outing on Wednesday evening. In this start, Henderson tossed five shutout innings and allowed just two walks with no hits. He struck out eight batters. This was his second-straight contest tossing five shutout frames and tallying eight punchouts. Henderson has begun to turn the corner following a rough season debut in which he allowed six hits and five earned runs across four innings of work. The 23-year-old is a name to monitor, given Milwaukee's numerous injuries to their starting rotation. If Henderson continues to perform well with Triple-A, he could get the call to the major leagues. The right-hander held a modest 4.56 ERA with Triple-A last season and appears to be taking a significant step forward in his development.
