Jordan Westburg Out With "Upper-Body Injury" On Wednesday
1 week agoBaltimore Orioles infielder Jordan Westburg (upper body) is dealing with what manager Brandon Hyde called an "upper-body injury" and will get the day off on Wednesday in the series finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field. It's the same issue that prompted Hyde to sit Westburg for a game in Toronto on opening weekend. It's something to watch, but it doesn't sound very serious, so Westburg should be back in the starting lineup in Baltimore on Friday against the division-rival Blue Jays. Ramon Urias is starting at third and is batting eighth on Wednesday against D-backs right-hander Brandon Pfaadt. Since returning from his last day off with the upper-body injury, Westburg has gone just 5-for-30, although he does have three home runs in his first 11 games of the year. Urias will be a low-upside DFS play and he's never faced Pfaadt in his career.
