Cooper Pratt Hits First Double-A Home Run
1 week agoMilwaukee Brewers infield prospect Cooper Pratt went 2-for-4 with a home run and a stolen base during Tuesday's contest. This was Pratt's first round-tripper and stolen base at the Double-A level. Through his first three games at Double-A, Pratt went 2-for-12 with no extra base hits. However, on Tuesday, he was able to post his first multi-hit game at the level. Last summer, Pratt spent most of his time with Low-A before moving up to High-A late in the season. The former sixth-round selection held a strong .295/.394/.395 line with Low-A but saw his production decline with High-A, as he held a .221/.258/.442 line. However, the team still opted for Pratt to open the campaign at the Double-A level. If he continues to perform well, he could push for a second-half Triple-A debut.
