Packers To Host Isaiah Bond For A Visit On Wednesday
4 days agoThe Green Bay Packers are scheduled to host University of Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond on a top-30 visit on Wednesday, a league source told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Silverstein. Many draft analysts believe this could be the year the Packers take a receiver in the first round, but if they don't, they could elect to draft a player like Bond on Day 2 or 3. In addition to Bond, the Packers have taken a look at Stanford pass-catcher Elic Ayomanor. After adding only Mecole Hardman in free agency at the position, Green Bay is primed to address the position in this year's NFL draft, especially with Christian Watson (knee) potentially missing half of the 2025 season. Bond lacks size but could excel as a shifty wide receiver in space in head coach Matt LaFleur's offense, while Ayomanor's skillset makes him more of a downfield threat.
