Justin Wrobleski Called Up And Starting On Tuesday Against Nationals
Justin Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, and he will make the start against the hosting Washington Nationals at Nationals Park. Right-hander Matt Sauer was optioned to Oklahoma City in a corresponding move. The 24-year-old southpaw will be making his first start of the 2025 season and just the seventh of his career after he debuted in the big leagues with the Dodgers in 2024. With lefty Blake Snell (shoulder) on the injured list, it's possible that Wrobleski will make more starts beyond Tuesday's outing. He was inconsistent last year with a 5.70 ERA (6.36 FIP) and 1.38 WHIP with 26 strikeouts and 16 walks in 36 1/3 innings over eight total appearances. Wrobleski looked good in his first start at Oklahoma City this year, tossing 5 2/3 scoreless innings. He could end up being a nice streaming sleeper.
