Gabriel Gonzalez Swinging A Hot Bat At High-A
2 weeks agoMinnesota Twins outfield prospect Gabriel Gonzalez has posted an impressive .462/.500/.923 slash line through his first three games of the High-A regular season. Gonzalez was named Midwest League Player of the Week due to his elite performance. He tallied three doubles, one home run, and held a 1:2 BB:K. He tallied three RBI and scored two runs. Gonzalez is considered the No. 21 prospect in the Minnesota system on MLB Pipeline. Last summer, the 21-year-old spent most of the campaign at High-A and held a modest .253/.327/.379 across 76 games. He held a 22:49 BB:K and hit only four long balls. Fantasy managers should expect Gonzalez to contend for an early-season Double-A debut, especially if he continues to remain productive.
