Matthew Coronato Scores In Second Straight Game
1 week agoCalgary Flames left wing Matthew Coronato found the back of the net in his second-straight contest on Monday evening. Coronato would find the back of the net in the third period to extend the Calgary lead to two goals over the San Jose Sharks. This goal would eventually serve as the game-winner. Over these previous two games, Coronato has logged five total shots on goal. However, before this recent scoring surge, Coronato was riding a five-game scoreless streak. During that skid, he logged just 10 total shots on goal and held a -5 rating. Through a career-high 72 games this season, the 22-year-old has scored 22 goals and added 19 helpers, with 14 of his total points coming on the power play. He will look to extend his scoring streak to three games against the Ducks on Wednesday evening.
