Overall, Gibson has made only 28 starts this season, posting an 11-11-2 record. He has allowed 2.77 goals per game with a .912 save percentage. While Gibson has performed well, he often struggles to stay healthy for long, which hampers Anaheim's chances of becoming competitive again. The 31-year-old has dealt with numerous injuries throughout the campaign and could be in danger of missing the remainder of the season if the injury is deemed serious. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next game on Saturday against the Vancouver Canucks. It looks like Anaheim plans to use Gibson as a backup on Tuesday, as Lukas Dostal was in the starter's crease during the morning skate.
