4 hours agoNew York Mets right-handed pitcher Matthew Allan logged 2 2/3 innings in his 2025 Low-A season debut. In this outing, Allan did not allow a run. He served up just two hits and held a strong 2:5 BB:K. Allan was once considered a top prospect in the Mets' system, but he dealt with numerous arm injuries. He last appeared in a minor-league contest during the 2019 season. He was able to pitch well in camp, which was a great sign. In addition, according to numerous reports, his velocity was also up in spring training. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring the 23-year-old's progression as he looks to return to full strength after his extended absence. If Allan continues to perform well with Low-A, the Mets will likely promote him to High-A in the coming weeks.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
