Jacob Markstrom Extends Winning Streak With Special Shutout

He became only the second netminder in franchise history with multiple shutouts against the Rangers in a single season, joining Martin Brodeur. The Rangers failed to beat Markstrom with 29 shots on the net. New Jersey's No. 1 secured his fourth consecutive victory to improve to 26-14-6 for the season. He has totaled four shutouts while registering a 2.43 goals-against average with a .903 save percentage. Markstrom will look to post his second five-game winning streak of the season on Tuesday when the Devils face the struggling Boston Bruins.
