1 day agoCleveland Guardians shortstop prospect Angel Genao sustained a shoulder injury during spring training that is expected to keep him out of game action until June. The 20-year-old was in camp with the big league club, going 2-for-6 with a walk in his seven plate appearances, and is expected to head to Double-A Akron when he returns from the minor league IL. Last season between Single and High-A, the Guardians' fourth-ranked prospect amassed a .330-10-71-72-25 line in 110 games, so he's ready to see some stiffer competition. Ranked at No. 60 on MLB.com's Top 100 prospects list, the switch-hitter has an ETA of 2026. With a nice blend of contact skills, power, and speed, the Dominican could be a worthy stash candidate in dynasty leagues if he continues to perform well upon his return. --Jarod Rupp - RotoBaller
