Julian Phillips Out On Tuesday
4 days agoChicago Bulls forward Julian Phillips (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Toronto Raptors. He has played in every game since the beginning of February but must take some time off to recover from a right quadriceps contusion. Matas Buzelis and Patrick Williams should absorb Phillips' minutes in Tuesday's contest. Buzelis has provided more fantasy value recently, averaging 19.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.4 blocks over the past five games.

Julian Phillips Available Versus Wizards
4 months agoChicago Bulls forward Julian Phillips (illness) will play on Tuesday against Washington. An illness kept Phillips out from Saturday's game against Memphis, but he has recovered well enough to be ready for action against the Wizards. The 21-year-old has contributed 4.2 points and 1.9 rebounds in 13.5 minutes this season. Patrick Williams' (foot) absence might open up extra minutes for Phillips, but he's a fairly unproductive player and doesn't provide much fantasy value.

Julian Phillips Diagnosed With Sprained Foot
1 year agoChicago Bulls forward Julian Phillips (foot) has officially been diagnosed with a sprained right foot and has to be in a walking boot. He's presumed to be out indefinitely as the team didn't give a timetable for his return or even a date when he'd be re-evaluated. The rookie was starting to get some more playing time recently as the Bulls are dealing with a plethora of injuries including Zach LaVine (ankle) and Coby White (hip). Since Phillips wasn't in a prominent role in the rotation, it shouldn't shake it up too much. Onuralp Bitim and Dalen Terry may see some more minutes, but not enough to make them very fantasy-relevant in the meantime.

Julian Phillips Yet To Sign Contract, Won't Play Summer League Opener
2 years agoChicago Bulls forward Julian Phillips will not play in the team's Las Vegas Summer League opener because he still hasn't signed his rookie contract with the team, according to Will Gottlieb. Phillips was drafted 35th overall this offseason after the team traded two future second-round picks to get him. There hasn't been any details just yet about why the 19-year-old hasn't signed, but it looks like he'll be sitting out of any Summer League games until that's done.
