Peterka would tally his helper on Tage Thompson's first goal in the opening frame. In the second, Peterka would find the back of the net for the first time. Then, in the third, Peterka would strike twice, with one of his goals being an empty-netter. Peterka has begun to heat up as he has tallied seven points (four goals, three helpers) over his last four contests. Before this stretch, Peterka was riding a 12-game goal-scoring drought. Overall, the 23-year-old has scored 14 goals with 25 assists through 48 contests. He will look to stay hot on Friday when he faces the Nashville Predators.
