21 hours agoWashington Wizards guard/forward Kyshawn George (knee) won't play on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz. George will be sidelined due to a bruised right knee. The 21-year-old rookie has played in 61 games, averaging 8.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.0 steals across 27.2 minutes per contest. He hasn't been a consistent fantasy contributor in his first NBA season. Anthony Gill and Justin Champagnie should see expanded roles this evening with George out of action.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoWashington Wizards guard/forward Kyshawn George (jaw) will play against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. He was initially listed as questionable for the contest due to a jaw contusion. George has been a regular starter for the Wizards since late January, although his performances can be inconsistent. The 21-year-old has made 24 total starts across his rookie campaign, averaging 9.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.1 steals. The matchup between Washington and Utah is projected to be a shootout, which may help George exceed his usual numbers.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

1 month agoWashington Wizards forward Kyshawn George (ankle) is available to play Monday against the San Antonio Spurs. He was listed as questionable earlier in the day but no longer carries a tag. George was sidelined Saturday against the Hawks due to a right ankle sprain. Before missing Saturday's contest, the 21-year-old rookie registered two straight games of posting 17 points. He should also see plenty of scoring opportunities this evening, playing over 30 minutes in his last two outings.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

This will be George's second consecutive game missed. In his absence, Carlton Carrington, Johnny Davis, and Jared Butler are expected to see more playing time. George has been a bit inconsistent this season but has averaged 26.2 minutes per game as part of the young Wizards squad. His next opportunity to return will be Sunday's game against Memphis.--Dave Goldsholl - RotoBaller
