Filip Gustavsson Stops 28 Shots In Victory
1 min agoMinnesota Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson stopped 28 of the 29 shots he saw during their victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Monday evening. The Kings held the advantage in the shot total, but Gustavsson was able to lead the way. His lone mistake came in the opening frame when Adrian Kempe found the back of the net on the power play. Gustavsson would then shut the door for the remainder of the contest. This was also a nice bounce-back for Gustavsson, as he allowed four goals in his previous start. Over his last seven games, the 26-year-old has posted a 4-2-1 record with a solid .929 save percentage and a 1.98 GAA. Fantasy managers should continue to view Gustavsson as a solid, low-end No. 1 goaltender playing behind one of the best defensive units in the sport. He will look to stay hot against the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday evening.
