Jake Allen Searches For Third Consecutive Victory Monday
14 seconds agoNew Jersey Devils goaltender Jake Allen will be between the pipes on Monday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The veteran netminder will log his 25th start of the campaign. It has been a season of ups and downs for Allen, who is sporting an 11-13-1 record. He has allowed 2.60 goals while registering a .911 save percentage with four shutouts. Against the Blue Jackets, Allen will attempt to win a third consecutive outing for the first time this season. He has beaten Philadelphia and Edmonton in back-to-back appearances, giving up three total goals. On Monday, Allen may not need to do much to secure another victory, as Columbus has been shut out in two consecutive games and three times in its last five contests.
