D.J. Jones, Broncos Agree On Three-Year Deal
2 mins agoFree-agent defensive tackle D.J. Jones and the Denver Broncos reached an agreement on Monday on a three-year, $39 million deal that includes $26 million fully guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jones will remain in Denver for another three seasons after playing with them since the 2022 campaign. In his three seasons in Denver, the 30-year-old has racked up 122 tackles (73 solo), five sacks, nine tackles for loss, 11 QB hits, nine pass breakups, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in 48 games started during the regular season. Retaining their starting nose tackle is good news for a Broncos defense that was the No. 1 defense in fantasy in 2024. Jones had 42 tackles (21 solo), one sack and a fumble recovery in his 17 regular-season starts last year. However, he won't be on the fantasy radar in IDP formats.
