Patrick Williams (knee) has picked up a questionable tag ahead of Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic. He seems to be nearing his return to action after missing seven games. On Feb. 20, the team announced that he would be re-evaluated in two weeks after Williams received a platelet-rich plasma injection to treat tendinosis in his right knee. Bulls head coach Billy Donovan mentioned on Sunday that Williams could be available for this week's two-game road trip in Florida. Chicago is also scheduled to face the Miami Heat on Saturday. On Thursday, the team announced that Williams received a platelet-rich plasma injection to treat tendinosis in his right knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The 23-year-old will sit out a second consecutive game on Saturday against the Phoenix Suns.
Matas Buzelis and
Julian Phillips benefit most from a fantasy perspective from Williams' absence. While Phillips outperformed Buzelis on Thursday against the New York Knicks, the Bulls have used Buzelis as a starter, putting him in a better position to make an impact.
