Olivier-Maxence Prosper Likely Done For The Season
1 month agoAccording to ESPN's Shams Charania, Dallas Mavericks forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper (wrist) is expected to undergo season-ending surgery on his right wrist. The 2023 No. 24 overall pick has played sparingly this season. But with injuries to Kyrie Irving (knee), Anthony Davis (adductor), and Daniel Gafford (knee), among others, he has averaged 6.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in three games in March. Prosper has an uphill climb to make an All-Star team moving ahead. However, he likely still has some untapped potential, meaning dynasty managers can keep him on the roster for now, especially with the uncertain future of the Mavs' roster beyond the 2024-25 campaign.
