Jarlin Susana Sent To Minor-League Camp
25 seconds agoWashington Nationals pitching prospect Jarlin Susana was sent to the minor-league camp. Susana is considered one of the top prospects in the Washington system. During his brief look at spring training, the 20-year-old tossed three innings with three punchouts. The right-hander received his first full look of professional baseball during the 2023 season as he logged 63 innings and held a 5.14 ERA with a 1.52 WHIP. He tallied 62 punchouts but showed weak command as he served up 40 free passes. During the 2024 season, Susana logged another 56 1/3 innings at Single-A and held an improved 4.47 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP. He then earned a taste of High-A as he logged a 4.18 ERA with a 1.25 WHIP across 47 1/3 innings. Dynasty managers should expect the right-hander to open the campaign at the High-A level and could push for a Double-A debut.
