Justin Champagnie Signs Four-Year Deal
13 seconds agoWashington Wizards forward Justin Champagnie has a new long-term extension with the organization. The two sides have agreed on a four-year, $10 million contract, which will keep Champagnie in Washington for the foreseeable future. The 23-year-old is averaging 7.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game on 51 percent shooting from the field. He figures to play a bigger role in the rotation during the second half of the season with the Wizards out of playoff contention. The expectation is the Wizards will let their younger players like Champagnie get more run going forward. Right now, Champagnie isn't an ideal streaming option, but he could have more value soon.
