Giants Could Be Willing To Trade Up To No. 1 Overall
1 min agoThe New York Giants have been a team to watch on multiple fronts as they try to find an answer at quarterback, especially after striking out on Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford, according to league sources. One avenue for the Giants could be to trade up into the No. 1 overall draft spot to ensure they can secure their favorite QB option this year. The Tennessee Titans currently own the No. 1 pick, but there has been plenty of interest from teams wanting to move up into the top spot. If the G-Men don't outbid other teams to secure the No. 1 overall pick in this year's NFL draft, New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers is another option. The Giants have already spoken to Rodgers' representation about playing for their team once he's officially released by the Jets as a post-June 1 cut. There has been plenty of speculation that New York could draft a QB this year while also adding a veteran bridge signal-caller.
