Ross Colton Tallies Three Points In Victory
3 mins agoColorado Avalanche left wing Ross Colton tallied three points during their victory over the Minnesota Wild on Friday evening. In the second frame, Colton tallied his first point, with the secondary assist on Jack Drury's goal. Later in this period, Colton would find the back of the net for the first time. In the third, Colton would tally his second goal of the game on the power-play. This outing extended his point streak to two games. However, prior to this two-game stretch, the 28-year-old was riding a 14-game scoreless drought. During this stretch, Colton tallied just 22 shots on goal with a -6 rating. He added 38 hits and nine blocked shots over this span. Through 44 games, Colton has found the back of the net 15 times and 104 hits. He remains an option for deeper formats given that he does not see consistent playing time in the Colorado bottom six.
