New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox (upper body) will miss at least three games, as The Athletic's Arthur Staple has reported that the team will place him on Injured Reserve. Fox was hurt in Tuesday's Battle of New York against the Islanders. According to Staple, there is "optimism" that Fox will be available for the Rangers during the final weeks of the season. Fox was knocked out of the lineup during his most productive offensive spell of the season. He has logged at least one point in seven consecutive outings, pushing his total to 48 points (three goals, 45 assists). Fox's presence will also be missed in the defensive zone, as he is ranked third on the team with 83 blocks. K'Andre Miller (lower body) looks to be in line to take over as the Rangers' No. 1 defenseman. However, he was also injured on Tuesday, and it's unclear if Miller will be available for Friday's contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox (upper body) exited Tuesday's contest early. The defenseman sustained a collision in the third period and landed on his arm. He left the ice in pain. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next contest on Friday evening against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Before exiting, Fox tallied a helper and logged four blocked shots. He held a +0 rating and added two penalty minutes. New York defenseman K'Andre Miller (lower body) left this contest as well and could leave their blue line shortened for the remainder of the week. Fox is currently riding a seven-game point streak. During this stretch, the 27-year-old has tallied two goals and added six helpers. If he were to miss time, Will Borgen could move up to the top pairing.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox had a three-point night in Wednesday's 3-2 victory against Buffalo. Fox picked up a couple of assists, including a power-play helper, and scored his first goal of the season with the Sabres net empty in the final minutes. The star blue-liner needed to produce 41 shots on goal to get his first marker of the campaign. There hasn't been much puck luck for Fox in front of goal, but he's still been productive and remains on track for a fourth consecutive 70-point season. 25 points in 28 games put Fox tied for fifth on the defensemen scoring charts.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox registered two assists in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Florida. After logging only one point in the previous seven games, Fox helped Vincent Trocheck get a power-play goal in the first period and grabbed another assist early in the third when Alexis Lafreniere found the back of the net. Fox started the playoffs well but has been struggling offensively for a while. All of his seven points in 14 postseason games have come via assists.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox did not skate for the second day in a row on Thursday due to what is being described as maintenance. His status for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinal against the Carolina Hurricanes is unclear. "When our players return to the ice, they return to the ice," Rangers bench boss Peter Laviolette said on Thursday. "So, if he's cleared for practice he's cleared for practice." It's worth noting that Fox took a knee-on-knee hit from Capitals blueliner Nick Jensen in Sunday's series-clinching victory. The 26-year-old tallied 17 goals and 73 points in 72 regular-season games but was limited to just a pair of assists across the four-game, first-round series with the Caps.--Brenton Kemp
