K’Andre Miller Exits Early On Tuesday
1 min agoNew York Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller (lower body) exited Tuesday's contest early. Miller sustained this injury in the second period and did not return. New York's top defenseman, Adam Fox (upper body), also exited this contest early and could leave their blue line shorthanded for their next game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday evening. Miller logged one blocked shot before exiting. If Miller were to miss Friday's game, Zac Jones would likely draw into the starting lineup and play on the bottom pairing. Before this contest, Miller tallied three points (one goal, two helpers) over his previous six games. He added 11 hits and 12 blocked shots during this span. Through 52 total games, he has tallied 14 points and logged 80 hits and 75 blocks. Urho Vaakanainen could have an increased role on Friday evening if Miller were to sit out.
