24 seconds agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Japanese right-handed rookie Roki Sasaki will make his Cactus League debut sometime in the middle of next week. Fans can't wait to get a look at the next Japanese phenom, but they won't have to wait much longer. Fellow countryman Yoshinobu Yamamoto has been tabbed to open the regular season on March 18 in Tokyo, Japan, against the Chicago Cubs, but Sasaki is expected to get the nod for the second game of the series on March 19. The 23-year-old is going to be an immediate fantasy asset in his first year in the States with the reigning World Series champions, and although he should be targeted as a No. 2/3 fantasy starter, he doesn't come without questions about his durability. Sasaki has never thrown more than 129 1/3 innings in a season, and the Dodgers will be sure not to overwork him in 2025.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
