Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings - Top 2nd Year Players to Buy and Target in Drafts (2025)

Brian Thomas Jr - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

With one full season now in the books for the 2024 NFL Draft class, it's time to look back and re-rank the rookies from that draft for dynasty fantasy football leagues. Several players saw their dynasty value rise following the season, and some players saw their dynasty value plummet.

In this article, we will look at the 12 best dynasty players from the 2024 NFL Draft. These rankings will take into account their rookie campaigns as well as their situation for years to come. The players on this list will be ranked one through 12 and will apply to one-quarterback dynasty leagues.

So, here are the top-12 dynasty players re-ranked from the 2024 NFL Draft.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for the 2025 playoffs:

12. Bo Nix, QB, Denver Broncos

This last spot was between New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. Nix's stronger rookie campaign, though, gave him the edge at this spot. The 24-year-old finished as the QB7 in all fantasy formats and threw for 3,775 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions across 17 games.

After that strong campaign, Nix is a top-12 dynasty quarterback. He has an elite offensive line that did a great job protecting him last season and a solid WR1 in Courtland Sutton. His rushing should also help him be a consistent fantasy option at the position for many years. The former Oregon star scored at least 19 fantasy points in five of the last seven regular season games.

11. Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, New York Giants

New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. is one of only two running backs to make this list. That's because the former Purdue product had a solid rookie campaign in 2024. He ran for 839 yards and five touchdowns while also catching 38 passes for 284 yards and one touchdown through the air. Those numbers helped him finish as the RB16 in PPR formats from Week 5 onward.

As a result, Tracy can be a solid RB2 option for dynasty owners in 2025. Although most Day 3 running backs often get replaced, it would be a surprise to see New York bring in another back, considering the team's needs. That makes the 25-year-old a nice dynasty asset to own for the next few years.

10. Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears

If this were a Superflex league, Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams would find himself higher up on this list. However, he comes in at No. 10 on this re-ranking list. Williams actually put up solid numbers for a first-year quarterback, throwing for 3,541 yards, 20 touchdowns, and six interceptions across 17 games. He also finished as the QB16 in all fantasy formats.

Dynasty managers should expect the Bears signal-caller to take that next step in the coming years, especially with Ben Johnson as his head coach. Johnson helped Jared Goff finish as a top-10 fantasy quarterback in three straight seasons, and the former Lions offensive coordinator is one of the best offensive minds in the game. That surely helps Williams' dynasty outlook moving forward.

9. Xavier Worthy, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy had a really strong end to his rookie campaign. He caught at least five passes in his last eight games (regular season + playoffs) and averaged 14.95 PPR fantasy points during that span. That included a 35.7 PPR fantasy point day in Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles, where he totaled eight catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns.

Therefore, Worthy has seen his dynasty value rise a ton over the past two months. The Chiefs were starting to use him more in different ways, and his speed became a big weapon for that offense. Even with Rashee Rice (knee) coming back next season, the former Texas star should still see plenty of opportunities.

8. Rome Odunze, WR, Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze didn't have the best rookie season in 2024. The former Washington product caught 54 passes for 734 yards and three touchdowns while finishing as the WR49 in PPR formats. But Odunze was never going to be that fantasy star right away. He had to compete with DJ Moore and Keenan Allen for targets and had a rookie quarterback in Williams throwing to him.

Nevertheless, dynasty managers should expect Odunze to break out in his sophomore campaign. Allen is set to become a free agent, and Johnson, coming over from Detroit, should help all pass catchers in this Bears offense. The 22-year-old wideout should be more involved in this Chicago offense in 2025 and beyond.

7. Ladd McConkey, WR, Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey was one of the best route runners to come out of the 2024 NFL Draft. That was surely on display in his first NFL season, as he became Justin Herbert's go-to option in the passing game. McConkey winded up finishing as the WR12 in half-PPR formats behind an 82-catch, 1,149-yard, and seven-touchdown season.

That strong season has certainly pushed him into the top 15 at the wide receiver position in dynasty formats. He is only 23 years old and will be attached to Herbert for many years. Even if the Chargers add a wide receiver this offseason, McConkey should still be the primary focus in this offense.

6. Bucky Irving, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving might have seen his dynasty value rise the most since the beginning of the 2024 season. Irving was set to backup Rachaad White for most of the year, but he soon overtook him for the starting job. That resulted in the rookie averaging 18.3 PPR fantasy points over the final nine regular season games.

Irving should now remain the Buccaneers starting running back in 2025, and the sky is the limit for the 22-year-old. He averaged 5.42 yards per carry in his first year while ranking top-3 in both juke rate (29.5%) and yards created per touch (4.94). As a result, the former Oregon Duck is a top-8 dynasty running back moving forward.

5. Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. didn't quite have the season that dynasty managers expected. Harrison only caught 62 passes for 885 yards and eight touchdowns. He was also a very inconsistent fantasy option, totaling under 10 PPR fantasy points in four of the final seven games.

However, let's not panic about Harrison in dynasty formats just yet. He won't turn 23 years old until August, and there were some positives from the former Ohio State star in his first year. His 42.8% win rate versus man ranked third amongst all wide receivers. Although the Cardinals playmaker didn't live up to expectations in 2024, he is still a top-10 dynasty wide receiver.

4. Jayden Daniels, QB, Washington Commanders

Even in one-quarterback leagues, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is fourth on this list. That's because Daniels had arguably the best season for a rookie quarterback in NFL history. He threw for 3,568 yards and 25 touchdowns while also running for 891 yards and six touchdowns. That resulted in him finishing as the QB5 in all fantasy formats.

What Daniels accomplished in his rookie season is unheard of, which is why he is a top-5 dynasty quarterback right now. His rushing gives him a higher ceiling and floor than most quarterbacks, and he should only improve as a passer in Year 2. The former Heisman winner is also just 24 years old.

3. Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

The top three on this list are interchangeable, but Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. finds himself in the third spot. Thomas had an unbelievable rookie season and totaled 87 catches for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns. Even with Mac Jones at quarterback, the former LSU product was unstoppable. Those numbers helped him finish as the WR4 in PPR formats.

Following that season, Thomas is now a top-8 dynasty wide receiver. He is only 22 years old and should be a strong WR1 option in fantasy for years to come. There likely aren't many wide receivers that dynasty owners would rather have the Jaguars star.

2. Brock Bowers, TE, Las Vegas Raiders

Many dynasty managers didn't like tight end Brock Bowers' landing spot with the Las Vegas Raiders. They didn't have a quarterback, and the team just drafted Michael Mayer the year prior. Needless to say, where Bowers landed in the draft didn't really matter because his skill set was going to allow him to succeed anywhere he went.

In his first season with the Raiders, Bowers had arguably the greatest rookie tight end season ever. He caught 112 passes for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns while finishing as the TE1 in PPR formats. His 112 catches were the most by a rookie, and his 1,194 yards were the most by a rookie tight end in NFL history. As a result, it's hard to argue against him not being the best dynasty tight end right now.

1. Malik Nabers, WR, New York Giants

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers rounds out this list after his strong rookie season. Nabers caught 109 passes for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns. Despite catching passes from Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, Tommy DeVito, and Tim Boyle in 2024, the former LSU star was still a top fantasy option. He finished as the WR6 in PPR formats.

Things should now only improve for Nabers in the years to come. The Giants are in a good spot to select a quarterback early in the 2025 NFL Draft, which would certainly help his dynasty outlook. That makes the 21-year-old playmaker a top-5 dynasty wide receiver right now. He should be a strong fantasy WR1 option for the next decade.

NFL Draft Predictions (2025): Fantasy Football Sleepers to Target in Dynasty League Drafts

I'll keep this intro short. This year's draft has a ton of late-round steals that will be league-winners in redraft if they go to good situations and don't get injured. This is especially true in the running back position. It's a stacked RB class, and the position is valued less in the NFL than every […]

Early 2025 Fantasy Football Sleepers and Draft Targets - RB

Running back was an interesting position in fantasy football in 2024. Most of the top backs in the league were unusually healthy for most of the season. That left little room for waiver-wire darlings and late-round picks to perform well for your fantasy squad. Given how injured running backs usually are, it is reasonable to […]
