Wide receivers are in high demand in dynasty fantasy football leagues. They come off draft boards early and can be difficult to acquire in trades.

Even with many pass-catchers available, values and sleepers still exist in this position. Identifying a few can give you a nice advantage over the rest of your league. They might even help you win that ever-elusive dynasty championship.

Jalen Coker, WR, Carolina Panthers

Coker is an undrafted free agent out of Holy Cross. He latched on with the Carolina Panthers and began producing during the second half of the 2024 season. In 11 games, Coker posted a 32-478-2 line and showed an affinity for making big plays.

He legitimately looked the part of an NFL-caliber receiver, and his underlying data backs that up. Among 100 receivers with at least 40 targets, Coker finished a respectable 43rd in PFF's Receiving Grade.

Out of 169 receivers with at least 50 routes run, Coker finished 86th in Fantasy Points Data Suite's Average Separation Score. He fared better in this metric than the likes of Davante Adams, Jaylen Waddle, DJ Moore, and DK Metcalf.

Coker's presence helped elevate Bryce Young and the team's passing game down the stretch. He won't be mistaken for Justin Jefferson anytime soon, but Coker is a solid player with room to grow into a very useful dynasty asset.

His price tag is also very cheap as he's currently ranked as RotoBaller's dynasty WR79. He shouldn't cost much in a trade and is a great throw-in target as part of a bigger deal.

Coker makes for a good late-round dart throw in dynasty start-up drafts as well. Carolina looks to have found a diamond in the rough with Coker. Dynasty managers lucky enough to have him on their rosters could be in store for a nice surprise.

Marvin Mims Jr., WR, Denver Broncos

Mims' sophomore season looked eerily similar to his 2023 rookie campaign for most of the season. However, things changed starting in Week 13. Mims posted a 3-105-1 line, which was highlighted by a 93-yard touchdown catch.

In his last five games, Mims caught 23 passes for 341 yards and five touchdowns on 26 targets. Per Fantasy Points Data Suite, Mims posted an impressive 32 percent targets per route run (TPRR) along with an incredible 4.37 yards per route run (YPRR) during that stretch. Denver made it a point to get him more involved in the offense. That decision was certainly validated, given Mims' play.

Head coach Sean Payton has already stated this offseason that Mims deserves a larger role in the offense in 2025. He may not perform quite at the same level he did to close the 2024 season, but we should expect Mims to exceed his 2024 numbers and have a career year.

Also, keep in mind that Mims was Payton's first pick after taking over as Denver's head coach and the team traded up to draft him.

Mims is currently RotoBaller's dynasty WR73. He's been more of an afterthought in dynasty leagues following a slow start to his career, but 2025 could be the season dynasty gamers have been waiting for. Mims is a great cheap option to gamble on if you're in a bad spot at receiver.

Jordan Whittington, WR, Los Angeles Rams

News broke last week that Los Angeles will move on from star receiver Cooper Kupp this offseason. While Puka Nacua will remain the team's clear WR1, there is plenty of room for another fantasy viable receiver behind him. Whittington flashed some potential as a rookie. It was highlighted in a seven-reception, 89-yard Week 5 performance against the Green Bay Packers.

The NFL Draft is only a couple of months away, and Los Angeles may decide to add a pass-catcher to replace Kupp. Whittington will need to escape the draft unscathed to have a realistic chance of becoming a reliable piece in the Rams offense.

The good news for him is that the incoming receiver class is one of the weaker ones we've seen in recent years. As a result, Los Angeles may give the sophomore receiver a shot in 2025.

Whittington's stock has been on the rise since the Kupp news broke. However, his price is still very cheap and shouldn't be too difficult to acquire. You could also view Whittington as a nice throw-in piece as part of a bigger deal. Either way, it's worth taking a shot on the former Texas Longhorn in hopes he becomes the Rams WR2.

Andrei Iosivas, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Iosivas made small strides during his sophomore season in 2024. His final stat line won't blow you away, but he did score a career-high six touchdowns on just 61 targets.

The main appeal with Iosivas is his potential role in Cincinnati's offense for 2025. Tee Higgins is set to become a free agent this offseason. The team has been hesitant to give him a long-term contract, so there's a very real possibility he walks in free agency. 2024 third-round pick Jermaine Burton is talented but hasn't played much due to poor work ethic and off-field issues.

That leaves a realistic path for Iosivas to emerge as Joe Burrow's WR2. That would be great news for Iosivas' fantasy value. He's about as cheap an option that's available at receiver, and he's a very sneaky third-year breakout candidate.

Iosivas needs to survive free agency and the draft before we can get excited. However, the incoming rookie receiver class is not very strong, and the Bengals may not want to pay up for a pass-catcher in free agency.

This team has many holes and may bank on the young receiver to further develop. Iosivas could be lined up for a big 2025 if that's the case. KeepTradeCut estimates his trade value as a mid-third-round pick. That's a pretty low-risk move to take a flier on Iosivas emerging as Cincinnati's WR2.

Josh Downs - WR, Indianapolis Colts

Downs' final 2024 numbers may not blow you away, but when we look under the hood, there are some good reasons to be excited about his future. Per Fantasy Points Data Suite, Downs registered a 30 percent targets per route run (TPRR), a 23.9 percent target share, and a 2.29 yards per route run (YPRR). Strong scores in these metrics highly correlate to fantasy football success.

The elephant in the room regarding Downs is the Colts' current quarterback situation. Anthony Richardson struggled mightily this past season, and it looks like he could be a bust. However, Colts general manager Chris Ballard hinted that the team will add competition to the quarterback position this offseason.

That could be good news for Downs' fantasy value, as he was most successful last year when Joe Flacco was under center. Downs is a talented receiver and just needs competent quarterback play to thrive.

Currently ranked as RotoBaller's dynasty WR42, Downs has the chance to soar up dynasty rankings with a big 2025. He's one of the more underrated receivers in the league and could break out in a big way if Indianapolis figures out the quarterback position.
