Torrey Pines May Be A Place To Avoid Russell Henley
41 seconds agoIt may seem a bit far-fetched to call for outright fading a guy like Russell Henley, who's done nothing but improve over his first three starts this season. However, this famed municipal track doesn't particularly play into his skillset. The long par-4s don't give him many looks with wedges and low irons that are much more solid than his longer clubs, and his strength with the putter--while a limited sample size here--hasn't been as blatant. As someone who ranks 167th in driving distance (291.8) and has spotty approach numbers from beyond 200 yards, Henley's ceiling seems reduced and is coupled with a floor that could tank a lineup if things go sideways.
