FanDuel NBA DFS Picks for Today (Tuesday 2/11/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Ja Morant - NBA, Fantasy Basketball Rankings, NBA DFS Lineup Picks

CeeGee's favorite FanDuel NBA DFS picks for today, Tuesday 2/11/25. His top daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for FanDuel DFS contests.

Welcome back RotoBallers! Tonight’s 4-game NBA DFS slate brings a solid mix of matchups, featuring high-paced teams and critical injury news that will shape DFS roster construction. With stars like Joel Embiid, Myles Turner, and OG Anunoby uncertain, we’ll need to monitor injury updates leading up to lock.

The key to success on FanDuel is finding a balance between high-floor cash plays and high-upside tournament picks.

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 2/11/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on FanDuel.

FanDuel NBA DFS Core Picks

Tyrese Maxey - PHI - PG ($10,000)

Tyrese Maxey has been on an absolute tear lately, and tonight’s matchup against the Raptors sets up perfectly for him to keep it rolling. The big factor here is Joel Embiid’s status. If Embiid is ruled out, Maxey’s role skyrockets, both in terms of usage and offensive responsibility. Without Embiid, Maxey’s usage rate jumps north of 30%, and he’s already averaging 47 FanDuel points per game over his last three. If Embiid is out he'll be more aggressive driving to the rim, drawing fouls, and setting up his teammates.

Toronto’s defense is nothing to fear as they rank 28th in defensive efficiency, struggling mightily against quick, scoring guards like Maxey. The game’s pace is projected to be above average, which only adds to his ceiling. Whether you’re building for cash or GPPs, Maxey should be one of the first names you consider, especially if Embiid sits.

Cade Cunningham - DET - PG ($10,500)

Cade Cunningham has quietly been one of the most consistent DFS producers in recent weeks. The Pistons may not win many games, but Cade is the engine of their offense, and that’s all that matters in DFS. Detroit comes into this matchup as 4.5-point favorites with a hefty 121 team total, which is one of the highest on the slate. That’s the kind of environment we love for fantasy production.

Cunningham boasts a 32% usage rate, and over his last three games, he’s averaging a whopping 51.5 FanDuel points per game. He’s doing it all for the Pistons, scoring, dishing out assists, and even contributing on the glass. The Bulls are particularly vulnerable to primary ball handlers, giving up the third-most assists per game to point guards this season. That bodes well for Cade, who’s been racking up assists with ease. In a pace-up spot against a shaky defense, Cunningham has both a high floor and an elite ceiling.

Kevin Durant - PHO - PF/SF ($9,200)

With Bradley Beal sidelined, Kevin Durant remains the focal point of the Suns’ offense, and that’s exactly where we want him. Durant’s usage rate hovers around 29.5% without Beal, and he’s been taking full advantage of the extra opportunities. In his last three games, KD has averaged 44.8 FanDuel points, and that’s without even hitting his ceiling in any of those contests.

What makes Durant even more appealing tonight is the pace of this game. The Suns are facing a Grizzlies team that plays fast, with both teams projected to push the pace to around 101.5 possessions per game. That means more shot attempts, more transition opportunities, and more chances for KD to rack up fantasy points. Durant’s mid-range game remains lethal, but he’s also getting to the line consistently, which adds easy points to his total. At $9,200, Durant offers elite upside with a rock-solid floor, making him a core play in all formats.

FanDuel NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Ja Morant - MEM - PG ($8,200)

When it comes to tournaments, you’re looking for players who can break the slate with explosive performances, and Ja Morant fits that mold perfectly. Since returning to the lineup, Morant has shown flashes of his vintage form attacking the rim relentlessly and playing with that trademark aggressiveness. His 30% usage rate highlights how much the offense runs through him.

The matchup against the Phoenix Suns is particularly intriguing. Phoenix’s defense has been shaky all season, currently ranking 25th in defensive rating, and they’ve struggled to contain dynamic, athletic guards like Ja. The projected pace of 101.5 possessions per game creates an environment ripe for fantasy goodness.

Morant thrives in high-tempo settings where he can push the ball, get easy transition buckets, and draw fouls. His ceiling is massive, and while the floor isn’t as safe as some core plays, that’s exactly why he’s a perfect GPP pivot and he can single-handedly win you a tournament on this small slate.

Jaren Jackson Jr. - MEM - PF/C ($8,500)

JJJ is the quintessential boom-or-bust DFS play, making him a fantastic tournament option. When he’s locked in, he can fill up the stat sheet in a hurry, not just with points, but with rebounds, steals, and most importantly, blocks. His shot-blocking prowess is elite, averaging 2.2 blocks per game, which is gold on FanDuel given the scoring bonus for defensive stats.

Tonight’s matchup against Phoenix sets up beautifully for him. The Suns rank 21st in rebounding rate, struggling to control the glass, which should give JJJ more second-chance opportunities and defensive rebounds. He’s also averaged 39.9 FanDuel points over his last three games, showing that he’s finding his groove offensively. The key here is foul trouble, if he stays out of it, he has the upside to post a 50-burger. For tournaments, that’s the kind of volatility we embrace.

Mikal Bridges - NYK - SG/SF ($6,200)

If you’re looking for a sneaky play with slate-breaking potential, Mikal Bridges deserves a long look. With OG Anunoby listed as questionable, Bridges could see an expanded offensive role, taking on more shot attempts and handling additional playmaking duties. Even when the Knicks are fully healthy, Bridges logs heavy minutes averaging 38.3 minutes per game which is elite for a player priced at just $6,200.

The matchup against the Indiana Pacers is another key factor here. Indiana ranks 27th in three-point percentage allowed, which bodes well for Bridges’ perimeter shooting. If his shot is falling, he could easily outperform his salary, especially in a game with a high projected total of 238 points. Bridges offers the kind of low-ownership upside that can differentiate your lineups in large-field GPPs. He may not be as flashy as some of the stars on this slate, but his combination of minutes, usage, and matchup makes him a strong pivot option.

FanDuel NBA DFS Value Picks

Jonathan Mogbo - TOR - PF/C ($5,200)

When you’re digging for value on a slate like this, opportunity is everything, and Jonathan Mogbo finds himself in a prime spot. With Jakob Poeltl sidelined, Toronto’s frontcourt rotation is razor-thin, opening up significant minutes for Mogbo. Even in limited action, he’s shown he can produce efficiently averaging 15.2 FanDuel points in just 17 minutes per game recently. That’s solid per-minute production, and if he sees 25+ minutes, he could smash his modest salary.

What makes Mogbo appealing isn’t just the minutes it’s the role he plays when he’s on the court. He’s active on the boards, cuts aggressively to the basket, and picks up easy points through hustle plays. Against a Philadelphia team that could be without Embiid, Mogbo’s rebounding upside and potential for putbacks make him a strong value option in both cash and GPP formats.

Zach Edey - MEM - C ($5,500)

Zach Edey is starting to carve out a meaningful role in the Grizzlies’ rotation, and he’s doing it with impressive efficiency. He’s producing at an elite rate of 1.20 FanDuel points per minute, which is exactly the kind of per-minute upside you want from a value play. The big question is minutes, if Edey can get anywhere close to 25+ minutes, he has the potential to deliver 7x value on his current salary.

Memphis faces a Phoenix team that’s vulnerable inside, especially when it comes to defensive rebounding. Edey’s size and presence in the paint could lead to easy buckets, putbacks, and a healthy dose of rebounds. Plus, he’s shown some shot-blocking ability, which is a bonus on FanDuel. He’s a risky play given the potential for limited minutes, but in tournaments on a small slate, that risk comes with some slate-breaking upside if things fall his way.

Grayson Allen - PHO - SG/SF ($4,900)

If you’re looking for a sneaky value play with legitimate upside, Grayson Allen is your guy. With Bradley Beal out, Allen has seen a slight bump in offensive responsibility, and he’s thriving in Phoenix’s ball-movement-heavy offense. Over his last five games, he’s shooting an impressive 47% from beyond the arc, and with defenses focusing their attention on Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, Allen continues to find himself with wide-open looks.

What’s even better is that Allen isn’t just a one-dimensional shooter. He’s contributing across the board with rebounds, assists, and the occasional steal, which helps pad his FanDuel score. In a high-paced game against Memphis, where Phoenix will need to score in bunches, Allen’s floor is solid, and his ceiling is higher than most people realize—especially if his shot is falling. At $4,900, he’s an excellent value option to round out your lineups.
