J.T. Poston Looks To Overcome Putting Woes At WM Phoenix Open
40 mins agoJ.T. Poston has posted mixed results to start the year with finishes of T53, T12, a missed cut, and a T40 in his first four events. He now looks ahead to the WM Phoenix Open, an event he has played six times previously. Most recently, Poston missed the cut in both 2024 and 2023, but he had four finishes of T37 or better prior to that. This course favors good drivers of the golf ball, and Poston ranks 11th in driving accuracy, 45th in total driving, and 76th in strokes gained off the tee. Over the last two years, he also ranks in the 89th percentile on approach shots from 150-200 yards, a distance that accounts for 42.6% of all approach shots at TPC Scottsdale. However, Poston has been ice-cold with his putter, losing 12.376 strokes with the flat stick. At a price tag of $8,000 on DraftKings, Poston could be a solid option for fantasy managers this week, as long as he can resolve his putting woes.
