2 mins agoAccording to Matt Vensel of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic will get the starting nod on Tuesday evening against the New Jersey Devils. Nedeljkovic is riding a two-game winning streak. He also posted his first shutout of the season in his last start on Saturday evening against the Nashville Predators, as he stopped all 25 shots he faced. With Tristan Jarry in the AHL, Nedeljkovic has taken complete control over the Pittsburgh crease, with rookie Joel Blomqvist slotting in as the No. 2 option. Over his previous six starts, Nedeljkovic has held a 4-2 record with a .940% SV and a 1.84 GAA. He has only allowed more than two goals once during this stretch.
