Stephen Ridings Signs Minor-League Deal With Dodgers
Stephen Ridings signed a minor-league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ridings has seen MLB action since the 2021 season. Since then, he has spent most of his time at the Triple-A level. In 2021, Ridings posted a 1.80 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP across five innings of work in the major leagues. Across 20 innings at the Double-A level, the 29-year-old posted an impressive 0.45 ERA and a 0.55 WHIP. During this stint, he struck out 32 batters and allowed just two free passes. However, at Triple-A, Ridings held a much higher 5.91 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP across 22 innings. Fantasy managers should expect Ridings to open the season in the minor leagues, given his lack of major-league experience.

Stephen Ridings Moves Rehab To Triple-A
Stephen Ridings (lat) remains on the 60-day injured list, but he moved his minor-league rehab assignment from Single-A St. Lucie to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday. In four outings (two starts) for St. Lucie and Syracuse so far on his rehab assignment, Ridings has allowed one run on two hits while walking none and striking out six in four innings of work. The 27-year-old right-hander is still looking to make his debut for the Mets after making five relief appearances for the New York Yankees back in 2021. Ridings will provide the Mets with some bullpen depth once he's fully healthy and recovered from his lat strain.
