Daniel Gafford Listed As Questionable
Daniel Gafford (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Mavs could be in trouble if Gafford is unable to go given their lack of healthy options at the center spot. It's worth noting that help is on the way in the form of Anthony Davis, but he's but going to be ready to play yet. Naji Marshall and P.J. Washington (knee) could be asked to play heavy minutes on Sunday. Washington should already be rostered in most formats, but Marshall is worth a look as a streaming choice if Gafford is unable to play.

Daniel Gafford Officially Out On Saturday
Daniel Gafford (knee) won't play on Saturday against the Bulls. He was listed as doubtful heading into this one. Fortunately, there's a good chance fantasy managers will see him back on the floor at some point in the next few games. With Dereck Lively II (ankle) also ruled out, Kai Jones (hip), averaging 10.8 points and 8.0 rebounds in five starts this season, will continue to handle most of the work underneath the basket.

Daniel Gafford Showing Progress In Recovery From Knee Injury
Daniel Gafford (knee) is progressing in his recovery and will be re-evaluated in two weeks. Gafford was diagnosed with a Grade 3 right MCL sprain in mid-February and was initially expected to miss at least six weeks. Barring any setbacks, it looks as though the 26-year-old could be back in the Mavs rotation at the beginning of April. Dwight Powell will likely continue to start at the center, with 21-year-old big man Dereck Lively II ( ankle) also still on the self.

Daniel Gafford Out At Least Six Weeks
Daniel Gafford (knee) was originally expected to be re-evaluated in two weeks but will have to miss even more time. According to Shams Charania and Tim McMahon of ESPN, the big man will miss at least six weeks with a Grade 3 MCL sprain. This leaves the team hurting for frontcourt depth since Anthony Davis (Adductor), Dereck Lively II (ankle), and Dwight Powell (hip) are all out for an extended period of time. Olivier-Maxence Prosper should see a big uptick in minutes along with both Kessler Edwards and Naji Marshall. All three are in streaming territory after the former two joined the starting five and Marshall saw 33 minutes off of the bench in their last game on Thursday.

Daniel Gafford To Be Re-evaluated In Two Weeks
Daniel Gafford (knee) will be re-evaluated within the next two weeks after sustaining a right knee sprain in Monday's 129-128 overtime loss to Sacramento. Injuries continue to pile up for the Mavs frontcourt, with Gafford, Anthony Davis (thigh), Dereck Lively (ankle), and Dwight Powell (hip) all out for the time being. Olivier-Maxence Prosper and Kylor Kelley will see more minutes on the floor while Gafford is out of action. However, neither player won't make much of an impact fantasy-wise.
