Josh Norris Exits Saturday With Injury
17 seconds agoAccording to Bruce Garrioch of TSN, Ottawa Senators center Josh Norris (undisclosed) exited Saturday's contest against the Minnesota Wild in the final frame. After the game, the team did not provide an update on his status. Before exiting, the 25-year-old found the back of the net for the second-straight game while shorthanded and added two shots on goal and a hit. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their game on Monday evening against the Nashville Predators. Over his previous 10 games, the former first-round selection has tallied nine points (five goals, four helpers) with 17 shots, 26 hits, and nine blocks. If Norris were to miss time, fantasy managers should expect Shane Pinto to be a candidate to move up to the second line, while Cole Reinhardt will likely draw into the starting lineup in the bottom six.
