Luka Doncic Traded To The Lakers
15 mins agoAccording to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Mavericks are trading guard Luka Doncic (calf), forward Maxi Kleber, and forward Markieff Morris to the Lakers. In exchange, Dallas will receive forward/center Anthony Davis (abdomen), guard Max Christie, and a 2029 first-round draft pick. Utah was also involved, with the Jazz receiving guard Jalen Hood-Schifino and picks. In what is one of the biggest trades in the history of the National Basketball Association, Doncic will head to Los Angeles after spending his entire career in Dallas. In 422 regular-season games, the 25-year old has averaged 28.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.2 steals. Without question, the 25-year-old is an MVP-caliber player. However, he's had trouble staying healthy through the years. If Doncic can remain on the floor, he could thrive playing alongside LeBron James. But first, he'll need to get cleared after injuring his calf in the Christmas Day loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
