It was the third time in the last four years that he hit exactly 27 home runs and he reached his highest totals in runs and RBI and best batting average since 2019. The stolen bases were a pleasant surprise as he had never had more than four previously though it is unlikely that performance repeats as the Giants were a bottom-five team in stolen base attempts as a team. Chapman has been one of the most consistent mashers in the game over the years. The eight-year veteran has finished in the top 7% of average exit velocity in six of the last seven seasons and in the top 8% of hard-hit rate in five of the last seven. Chapman lands at No. 12 in RotoBaller's third baseman rankings. With a 132.88 ADP, he serves as a mid-round insurance policy for fantasy managers who miss out on top-tier talent at the position.
