Danny Coulombe Has Potential Suitors
11 seconds agoAccording to Robert Murray of FanSided.com, left-handed relief pitcher Danny Coulombe is drawing interest on the market. Murray noted that multiple teams were interested in left-hander Taylor Rogers before he was traded to Cincinnati. As a result, Coulombe could be viewed as one of the top southpaws on the market. Last season with Baltimore, Coulombe posted a strong 2.12 ERA with a 0.67 WHIP across 29 2/3 innings. He struck out 32 batters and served up just five free passes. In 2023, Coulombe posted a similar 2.81 ERA and a 1.11 WHP across 51 1/3 frames with the Orioles. The southpaw consistently saw time as a high-leverage option in the Baltimore bullpen over the past two seasons. He would likely find a role as a setup man in 2025.
