Alexandre Sarr Will Not Play Thursday
26 seconds agoWashington Wizards forward Alexandre Sarr (ankle) will miss a second straight game on Thursday when the Wizards host the Lakers. Sarr sprained his left ankle Monday against Dallas and was forced to leave after just 11 minutes. In his absence on Wednesday against the Raptors, Jonas Valanciunas started and played 23 minutes, and Richaun Holmes served as his top backup with 16 minutes. Both veteran big men will be lined up for more work on Thursday against the Lakers, who will be without Anthony Davis (abdominal), leaving Jaxson Hayes and Christian Koloko in the middle on the other side of this matchup on Thursday.
