1 day agoAccording to Frank Seravalli, the St. Louis Blues placed left wing Brandon Saad on waivers earlier on Tuesday. The veteran will move to the AHL if he goes unclaimed on waivers. Saad was on pace to have one of the worst seasons of his career. Across 43 contests, Saad has scored just seven goals with nine helpers. He held a -14 +/- rating while averaging just under two shots on goal per game. Before being placed on waivers, Saad was held off the scoresheet in his previous six contests. However, prior to this cold stretch, the veteran began to slowly turn the corner as he scored three goals and three helpers over his previous four contests. Fantasy managers should expect Jake Neighbours and Dylan Holloway to operate as the top left-wingers in the offense.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
