Winnipeg Jets right wing Cole Perfetti scored a hat trick during their victory over the Utah Hockey Club on Friday evening. Perfetti scored the game's opening goal on the power-play in the first period. Perfetti would tack on his other goals in the final frame, one on a snap shot, and the other being the empty-netter in the final minutes. Perfetti added three hits, four shots on goal, and a +2 rating in this contest. This was his first career hat trick. Entering this contest, Perfetti has tallied just two points (both assists) over his previous 14 contests. However, before this cold stretch, the 23-year-old tallied eight points over his previous 12. Fantasy managers should continue to view Perfetti as an option for deeper formats, as he has yet to produce consistent scoring production this season.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets forward Cole Perfetti scored his first career postseason goal in Friday's 5-2 defeat against the St. Louis Blues. The 23-year-old lit the lamp on the power play with 5:43 played in the second period, tying the game at one. However, the Blues went on to score four unanswered goals in the period, setting up the series for a big Game 7 on Sunday. Perfetti has averaged 0.5 points per game in the matchup, registering one goal and two assists with 14 shots on goal and a minus-four rating. With him netting his first playoff goal, Friday was a special night for Perfetti, but he struggled during even-strength play, going minus three. Perfetti logged only 8:05 of even-strength ice time, so things were really rough for him in the contest.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets left wing Cole Perfetti tallied a goal and an assist during their overtime victory over the Seattle Kraken on Sunday evening. Perfetti would find the back of the net in the opening frame during 5-on-5 play. In overtime, Perfetti would tally the primary helper to set up Dylan Samberg on the game-winning goal. This was his second two-point outing over his last three contests. Before this recent surge, the 23-year-old tallied just one point (a goal) over his last six games. Through 68 total games this season, Perfetti has enjoyed a career season. He has found the back of the 14 times and added 28 helpers, with 14 of his points coming on the power play. Fantasy managers should expect Perfetti to continue to play on the second offensive line, which makes him a solid forward in all standard leagues.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets forward Cole Perfetti recorded a career-high four points in Friday's 8-3 victory over San Jose. He tallied two goals and two assists, with half of his points coming on the power play. The 22-year-old led all skaters with a plus-four rating and tied a game-high with five shots. Perfetti entered Friday's contest with zero points and six shots on his name through three games, so this should be a good confidence booster for him. Winnipeg's second line was buzzing all night, combining for 11 points, and they have a chance to keep the momentum going on Sunday versus the Penguins, who allow 4.17 goals per game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Winnipeg Jets winger Cole Perfetti has inked a two-year, $6.5 million extension with the team. The two parties came to an agreement on a bridge deal that will carry a $3.25 million cap hit. Perfetti was a restricted free agent and missed the start of training camp because he wasn't under contract for 2024-25. The 22-year-old has skated in 140 games with the Jets, recording 29 goals and 75 points. Following a solid rookie campaign, his production went down in 2023-24, as he settled for 38 points (19 goals, 19 assists) in 71 appearances. However, Perfetti should now have all the motivation in the world to perform well, as he will need to be at his best to earn a lucrative long-term contract.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
