Fantasy Football Injury Reports For Championship Round (Friday Updates): Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert, Dalton Kincaid, Zach Ertz

Jalen Hurts - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Fantasy football Friday injury updates for RB, WR, TE, QB for the Championship Round (2025), as of 1/24, including Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert, Dalton Kincaid, and Zach Ertz.

The AFC and NFC championship games are officially here! After an exciting two weeks of games, just four teams remain. While regular season fantasy football has long been over, many sickos are still deeply entrenched in the world of fantasy football, whether through DFS or full playoff competitions.

Both games take place on Sunday, with the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the young underdog Washington Commanders first, followed by the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Buffalo Bills. While there are fewer teams to follow, it is still important to keep a close eye on injuries from top players.

Rather than focusing on individual players like usual, here is a rundown of the relevant fantasy football injuries this week for each of the four remaining teams.

Washington Commanders Injury Report

The NFC sixth seed Washington Commanders are mostly healthy on the offensive side of the ball, likely a big reason they've been successful in the playoffs, putting up 45 points last week against the top seed Detroit Lions.

The closest they have to injury worries is to tight end Zach Ertz, who after not practicing Wednesday due to a rib injury, practiced fully Thursday and Friday and has no injury tag. Beyond him, all of the important offensive players in fantasy, like Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin, and Brian Robinson Jr., are all completely off the injury report.

It will be interesting to see how the Commanders offense does against the top-tier Eagles defense run by defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.

Philadelphia Eagles Injury Report

The NFC second seed Philadelphia Eagles are a bit banged up after a tough snow game victory over the Los Angles Rams, but expect their top skill players to play on Sunday. Jalen Hurts was the biggest question mark after getting hurt and looking hobbled on his return last week, but appears primed to play despite a knee injury after no injury tag and two full practices in a row.

A.J. Brown and Dallas Goedert are also listed on the injury report. Brown has been dealing with a knee injury, illness, and receiving rest according to the report, but despite all that, he also practiced fully twice and row and has no injury tag. Dallas Goedert had a bit tougher week than the other two, not practicing at all Wednesday and Thursday, but practiced fully Friday and is good to go.

Another injury worth following is starting center Cam Jurgens, who is questionable with a back injury. He is a major part of the infamous tush push, so if he is out, that could effect things for Hurts and his potential for goal line rushing touchdowns.

Buffalo Bills Injury Report

The Buffalo Bills beat the Baltimore Ravens in a nail-biter last week, and head into Kansas City relatively banged up. However that is almost exclusively on the defensive side of the ball, so there isn't much to note from a fantasy perspective.

Dalton Kincaid is the only skill position player on the injury report due to a knee injury, but after two full practices in a row, has no injury tag and should be good to go. The Chiefs don't have many holes, but perhaps their biggest is against tight ends, so Kincaid and/or Dawson Knox could be in line for a good game.

Kansas City Chiefs Injury Report

The Kansas City Chiefs are very healthy with only four players on the injury report, perhaps a product of their first week bye. Of those four players, Patrick Mahomes is one with an ankle injury, but he practiced fully all week and, to no one's surprise, is fine to play.

Mahomes didn't have the best of seasons based on his standards, but he has been better of late from a statistical standpoint, turning the ball over less and finding his top target Travis Kelce over and over for big gains in important moments. Expect more of the same against the Bills.
