We're to the championship rounds of the playoffs. Only two games will be played this weekend -- the Buffalo Bills will try their best to fend off the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship from sleepwalking their way into another incredibly boring Super Bowl win.
And in the NFC, the heavily favored Philadelphia Eagles will host the upstart Washington Commanders, who many thought wouldn't make it past the Wild Card round and shock the Detroit Lions less than a week ago.
And as long as there are games, there will be injured players to provide updates on. RotoBaller always brings you the latest news on injuries, and this week is no different. Let's dive in.

Patrick Mahomes Injury Update
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle) practiced in full on Wednesday. He apparently hasn't re-aggravated his ankle injury, and he's continued to play through it. It doesn't appear to be affecting his ability to throw or run, so there's not much reason to be concerned about it.

There still isn't anything to worry about. We saw him play through an ankle injury and win a Super Bowl in the same postseason, and there's no reason to think he can't do it again. We expect him to log two more full practices and be a full participant in the AFCCG as well.
Dalton Kincaid Injury Update
Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) is dealing with the same injury that held him out of Week 18. He practiced in full on Wednesday, though, and it looks like he'll be on track to play yet again on Sunday. One of the most lukewarm draft picks of 2024 in fantasy football should be good to go.

It's hard to ascertain how it will affect (and has been affecting) his performance. But it's probably not a big deal. His lack of production has more to do with a lack of talent and the accompanying lack of usage in offensive coordinator Joe Brady's system. He likes to spread the ball around a lot.
The "he's gonna get all the targets because quarterback Josh Allen has no one else to throw it to" narrative is one you should probably ignore in fantasy football in 2025.
Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert Injury Updates
The Philadelphia Eagles have a trio of important offensive players dealing with injuries. Quarterback Jalen Hurts (knee) logged a limited practice on Wednesday. He took a nasty hit in his team's win over the Los Angeles Rams and was hobbled after the play.
Based on how Jalen Hurts leg gets pinned the worry would be for a possible

His legs were trapped awkwardly under his body as he was tackled, but he was able to finish playing the game after being checked out by medical staff. And it looks like he'll be playing in the NFC Championship as well. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has never been helpful regarding player injuries, so it's best to ignore whatever he says.
Meanwhile, Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee, rest) continues to manage a knee injury and be given veteran's rest days. He was limited at practice. There's no reason to think he won't play.
Tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) didn't practice on Wednesday. His status is uncertain. His season has been riddled with injuries, as he's dealt with knee, hamstring, and now ankle injuries so far. There hasn't been any solid information confirming that he'll play on Sunday.

His addition to the report was somewhat of a surprise. We will have to wait and see. Sirianni won't help us learn anything, that's for certain.
Zach Ertz Injury Update
Tight end Zach Ertz (ribs, rest) is dealing with some sort of rib injury, but he presumably only missed practice due to a rest day. That's understandable since he's 36 years old. He'll need all the rest he can get -- he'll get a third revenge game against his old team this weekend.

Ertz is the only significant fantasy-relevant offensive player for the Commanders to be dealing with an injury. They are pretty much fully healthy at QB, WR, TE, and RB.
