9 mins agoWill Zalatoris has started 2025 in excellent form, finishing T26 at The Sentry and T12 at The American Express while recording four top-30 finishes in his past five PGA Tour starts and gaining strokes putting in all four events. This is a highly encouraging sign for Zalatoris, who ranked 132nd in strokes gained in putting in 2024. He also has a strong history at Torrey Pines, with results of T13, T2, and T7 in three of his last four Farmers Insurance Open appearances. In his second-place finish in 2022, he gained 7.9 strokes on approach, and in 2024, Zalatoris ranked 49th in approaches from 200-225 yards, averaging 39 feet and one inch from the hole, while also ranking 26th in putting from over 25 feet.
