Kenyon Martin Jr. (illness) will not suit up on Friday against the Indiana Pacers due to an illness.
Lauri Markkanen (knee) and
John Collins (ankle) have been ruled out for at least a week, so that means the vacant minutes should move down to
Kyle Filipowski and
Brice Sensabaugh. Both can be solid streamers in a pinch, especially Filipowski, who has started in each of the last six games and averaged 14.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.7 threes per game.

He was added late to the injury report due to right elbow soreness, and the team has now officially ruled him out for the contest. Martin Jr. will not have to wait long for his first opportunity to return, as Utah is scheduled to host the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. In Sunday's game, we may see more of
Micah Potter and
Brice Sensabaugh due to Martin Jr.'s absence from the lineup. Sensabaugh, who averages 13.4 points and 3.1 rebounds for the month, is the better bet to make noise in fantasy competitions.

Kenyon Martin Jr. (conditioning) is listed as available for Friday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has missed two months of action due to a stress reaction in his left foot. While with the Philadelphia 76ers at the start of the season, Martin Jr. averaged 6.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 20.0 minutes. He may receive more playing opportunities on a rebuilding team like the Jazz. However, Martin Jr. might need time to shake off some rust, and the team could initially limit his workload following his long injury layoff.

After being traded to the Jazz recently acquired, the 24-year-old is, and he has yet to make his debut with his new squad. His next opportunity to debut in a new uniform comes after the entire All-Star break versus the Oklahoma City Thunder on February 21st.
