The Kansas City Chiefs finished the regular season with a 15-2 record, tied for the best in the NFL. They lost a meaningless Week 18 contest against the Denver Broncos, with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and several other key starters sitting out the game.
However, the Chiefs' only meaningful loss this year came to the Buffalo Bills in Week 11, losing 30-21. They have several impressive wins this season, including over the Baltimore Ravens by seven, the Cincinnati Bengals by one, and the San Francisco 49ers by 10.
Can Kansas City win Super Bowl LIX? What will it take for them to pull off the first three-peat in NFL history? Let's dive into it.

Why The Kansas City Chiefs Can Win Super Bowl LIX?
The Chiefs earned the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, giving them a first-round bye. Their first postseason matchup is on Saturday afternoon against the Houston Texans. Kansas City won the regular-season matchup between these two teams in Week 16, 27-19.

While the Chiefs aren’t the betting favorite to win Super Bowl LIX, no one should be shocked to see them pull off the first three-peat in NFL history. Mahomes leads an impressive offense despite losing Rashee Rice to a season-ending knee injury in Week 4. The addition of DeAndre Hopkins and the development of Xavier Worthy have been massive for the team’s offense.
Meanwhile, Kansas City’s defense has been lights out for most of the year. Chris Jones is the leader of the unit. The future Hall of Famer had 10.5 sacks in 2023, his second consecutive season hitting the double-digit mark. Unfortunately, he had only five this year, his lowest total since his rookie season. Yet, Jones was a massive factor in the Chiefs defense.
Kansas City has the experience on both sides of the ball to win Super Bowl LIX. While the offense and defense can have poor performances, the Chiefs have the elite quarterback, weapons, and experience needed to bring home the Lombardi Trophy.
