Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry was placed on waivers Wednesday. The move came after Jarry gave up two third-period goals inside a minute in Tuesday's 4-2 defeat to Seattle, marking another low point in a tough campaign. The 29-year-old has won only eight of 22 appearances, allowing 3.31 goals with a .886 save percentage. Jarry is only in the second season of a five-year, $26.875 million contract. With Jarry now out of the picture, Alex Nedeljkovic, who boasts a 7-7-4 record for the season, will become the Penguins starter. Joel Blomqvist will be called up from the minors to serve as the No. 2 option in the crease.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
