The Buffalo Bills are set to host the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional Round of the 2024-25 NFL playoffs after handily demolishing the Denver Broncos, 31-7, just a few days ago. Buffalo showed that there are levels to this when it ran circles around a fellow playoff team.
The Bills are at least a little bit less of an underdog now after that performance. They were expected to win that game, but to do so in such a resounding fashion improved optimism that they could have a shot at winning in the big game. First, they'll need to get there, but that looks highly possible as well.
So, here's how the Bills can win it all and take home the Lombardi Trophy for the first time in their history.

Josh Allen Can Continue His Elite Postseason Play
Quarterback Josh Allen is the most important part of this team for its SB hopes, and he's done nothing to change anyone's mind about that. Against one of the NFL's best defenses, Allen completed 20 of his 26 pass attempts for 272 yards and two touchdowns and rushed eight times for 46 yards.

Josh Allen isn’t human

A 24-yard, perfectly thrown touchdown strike on 4th-and-1 to put his team up by two scores with 3:06 remaining in the third quarter was his magnum opus for this game. And it was emblematic of his performance in the playoffs throughout his career.
I’m not putting this out here to start drama (so don’t bring any), but here’s Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and Lamar Jackson’s playoff stats.
Overall records are
Allen: 5-5
Burrow: 5-2
Jackson: 2-4 pic.twitter.com/XVO3F0hRvU— Elly De La Cruise ship (@EllyDeLaCruise) February 19, 2024
Those numbers were from before this year's postseason. They should only improve from here on out.
The Offensive Line And James Cook
Running back James Cook ran 23 times for 120 yards and a TD against one of the best run defenses in the league. He's been a revelation this season, improving on his 2023 in every way. He's now scored 19 total touchdowns, too. This has been in large part thanks to the dominance of the offensive line.

It has been fantastic in pass protection and run-blocking alike. In a sport where games are often won in the trenches, having one of the best up-front units to protect your quarterback and open up holes for your RB to run through allows you to crush your opponents' defenses.
The Defense Could Continue Playing Well
Speaking of defense, the Broncos were one of the better offenses in the league this year but were completely shut down by Buffalo after scoring just one touchdown. Denver itself boasted a rookie quarterback who had played very well, one of the most respected offensive minds in head coach Sean Payton, and a great receiver in Courtland Sutton.
Sam LaPorta TOUCHDOWN!!! 🤯🤯🤯

The Bills have seemingly turned things around after allowing more than 40 points to both the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Rams in back-to-back weeks around a month ago. It's possible they could keep up their great play. If they do, they have a solid chance of winning it all.
